For the third year in a row, Responder Wipes sponsored the Orlando Fire Conference held February 21st – 23rd. This premier training symposium is hosted in partnership with the City of Orlando Fire Department and the Central Florida Fire Academy. In honor of Chief Matt Negedly, its mission is to equip firefighters to be better prepared and help them stay alive.
The conference attracted over 400 firefighters from across the globe, including 16 from Germany! As a result, we saw old friends, made new ones, and came away with lots of great information and ideas.
The General Session included fantastic speakers like Retired Chief Jimm Walsh, Retired Chief Mike Lombardo, and Michelle Fayed with Mental Health First Aid. Additionally, there were two days of Hands On Training classes. Amazing instructors were teaching classes such as “RIT Team Training – One Bad Day” and “Vent, Enter, Search.” Therefore, there were plenty of opportunities for students and instructors alike to test Responder Wipes.
The response was overwhelming about how great Responder Wipes were for making quick work of decontaminating. For example, we heard comments like, “I can’t believe how big they are!” and “I wish my department would use these instead of the ones we have. Can I take some home?”
Thank you to Orlando Fire Conference for allowing us to participate. Thank you to the students and instructors for making it such a successful conference. Until next year!
